I previewed a bit more of Rumbling Hearts, and found that it had between-episode omakes. They aren't at the level of the omakes which came with To Heart, but still, it's nice to have them. One displays some odd humour though:

She's in coma in hospital, right? And hitting her with a mallet in the face is funny because...?
