According to ANN, Funi sues a group of affiliated retailers over bootlegs (via). The chief import of this action is how it gives them the moral authority to talk about the evils of downloads. The issue of bootleg DVDs was mentioned before on this blog, and Discount Anime DVD was even one of the three examples. Two others still remain, so Funi and the others still have a lot of work to do. I wish them success.
