DarkMirage on Druaga ~Aegis~

He's overdoing on the hype of his cynic's credentials, but even so Druaga made an impression:

It is still too early to judge Tower of Druaga as a whole, for a great appetizer is nothing without an equally enjoyable main course, but The Aegis of Uruk is no doubt one of the best appetizers from Gonzo in a long, long time.

I've bought both the Druaga (Aegis) and 6 episodes of Strike Witches at BOST and I am having trouble deciding what's better. Strike Witches would've been better if not for repulsive and persistent crotch-in-the-viewer's-face and episode 5. But I agree, a good job from GONZO.

To be sure, our views on the subject differ in detail. For example, DM completely bypasses AHMEEEEEEEY, but includes this:

On another note, Fatina is so hot. I know that so far every single hint in the show, including the opening sequence (usually a rather accurate indicator of future plot direction), says that Kaaya is the heroine of the show, but I just can’t help but root for the underdog. I mean come on, Fatina and Jil make such a cute and entertaining couple.

Makes one wonder if he's seen anything of Druaga ~Sword~ yet, doesn't it? Personally, I'm kind of ambivalent about it. Unless GONZO manages to pull off the gambit from F/SN anime, where the destiny removes the sacred cow and then... Well, we'll see [1].

BTW, the quality of DM's video is far better than BOST video that I got for $2 an episode.

[1] Hopefuly Kaaya does not fall into a coma for a couple of years.
