Someone linked one of those season posters on 4chan, and there's a new show announced: a Japanized Cheburashka.

I can understand a plan to repackage and sell me my childhood at today's prices, but how is this supposed to work for Japanese? It's not their childhood. Something doesn't compute.

Youtube://ZeKPIn8vvLs -- Hopefuly what we can expect from the new show. Although in my opinion the book was 100 times better than the cartoon adaptation, the cartoon had iconic songs. Since they are already translated, they are crying to be reused.

P.S. Who is the world are GoHands? Never heard of that studio.

P.P.S. The official site hints that they are going to sell Cheburashka to today's children... Still not sure if this project has a chance.
