One would be forgiven to expect another full-on Sekirei-style putdown from our favourite hater of everything good in anime, but apparently she cannot bring herself to decimate series as adorable as Kampfer. Reading the review is like watching Darth Vader denying the reminder of the good within him, which Luke can sense.

There were necessary factual errors and the analysis did not go deep enough. For example, Akane is far from "female lead" and actually is the butt monkey of the series [1]. Also, Jessie observed how Akane's Messenger has "coarse and vulgar attitude", yet did not connect it to Akane's own inner fires. And of course, another blogger confused by the analogy with Ranma.

Still, it's the thought that counts, and good for the unstabbed neck (even if "surprisingly" so).
