Skipping massive spoilers in the "FIN" entry, we find the following executive summary with more spoilers:
Having suffered through Tokyo Ghoul √A absolute complete failure of a season and ending, I thought that Aldnoah.Zero’s ending was fairly good in comparison. It was consistent with the themes presented with Slaine’s quest for power coming to a tragic end and Assumlysum pleads for peace that prevails in the very end. I think it was fitting that Slaine suffers a life under Terran custody instead of being a martyr for the Vers Empire, not that anyone cares for a lowly Terran anyways. With Princess Lemrina getting away scot-free and much of the Aldnoahs’ backstory being ripe for exploration especially when it comes to alien technology and the moon-shattering events of Heaven Falls.
It's an excellent example of how not to write series summary. Selecting a failry unknown series for the sole comparison I can understand. Maybe Tokyo Ghoul left a special mark on Helghast's mind. Still, the summary is not proofread. Spoilers are unnecessary, too. But worst of all, it does not tell me if the anime is worth watching.
Bloggers, you must sell the series you're reviewing, one way or the other, otherwise you're worthless.
I'm sure I'm guilty of this sin in many of "Ends" brackets, but it bears repeating. If you want a positive example, look at Evirus. For example: [ending] "is FULLY AWESOME". It's basically all you need to know. And there's a supporting argument. Done. Here though... Not feeling it.
