One of my freshly obtained ef CDs has euphoric field performed by ELISA, another idol with all-caps name.

What is up with this strange obsession? Right off the top of my head I can name YUKI (Naruto), MAKO (Kamichu), now ELISA (ef), and, of course, the inimitable KOTOKO who seems to be the only truly famous all-caps anime singer. If memory serves me well, Mrs. Hayashibara experimented with MEGUMI moniker at one point as well. And there must be more: I saw a mention of KAORI (Myself;Yourself) at Nova's today.

I shrug the phenomena off and into the "LOL Japan" category, but still, it's curious. There must be a reason why they keep doing it.
