Thank you, Hinano

While I drove the damn 7-ton with a trailer, J.P. was forced to watch a couple of shows.

His reaction to Galaxy Angel confused me a bit. I thought that fans watched it for favourite characters (e.g. Raphna), not favourite seyuu (Yukari Tamura). Nobody watching Galaxy Angel can be that sophisticated. BTW, my favourite episode is where Vanilla loses her artefact.

The summary of Angel Tales was pretty fun. The idea of sex appeal without sex is not all that uncommon really... I bet a few fans fantasized about banging Reki or Sakaki-san. As for the nonthreatening show portraying death, I wonder. I don't remember movies of my childhood dwelling on it, but then it wasn't a safe society. In the second grade, I grabbed a classmate by his legs, spun him around and hit his head upon a cast iron heating radiator (the last part was unintentional). Fortunately, he survived. As a more recent example, a boy in my daughter's parallel class in the grade school fell out of a tree during a recess and smashed his skull upon concrete. I don't think she were unduly traumatized.

I think J.P. got a good gig going here with these forced reviews.
