One of the best things about anime is finding something unexpectedly enjoyable. After the failure of Hyakko, I triggered a surprisingly robust discussion about it on #animeblogger yesterday. All sorts of suggestions were offered, including really weird stuff like One Outs. But in the end it's down to established leaders Index and Kannagi (unless you're attracted to horror). The latter, Kabitzin claims, is a rare case of an adaption adding value to its parent manga.

I'm still open to suggestions, although most likely it won't be Macademi Wasshoi. Burning Amazon was mostly positive, but it looks like KKN with better art to me. I would rather extricate ZKC from the backlog.
