In meta.

Go me. The first post went up in June 2007.

JOSH CONGRATULATES me, with a twist. What is interesting about it for me is our shared history. Back when he published web stats regularly, Josh's and Ani-nouto tracked very closely for a long time, almost a year [1]. But our approaches were quite different: Josh ran a big operation which took itself very seriously. It had a podcast, a publishing structure, uniform reviews, and adhered to regular posting rules. It was quite interesting to read, like a good newspaper. Ani-nouto, in contrast, was pretty much whatever went through my head and consisted of 70% reblogged content (it still does). The surpsising results made me suspect that the raising tide of animeblogging lifted all boats.

By the way, both of us are pigmees at the feet of Kabitzin. Now that's some blogging!

[1] My numbers were about twice higher, which I put down to some kind of overcounting factor. The factor remained constant throughout.
