Comparing Piano to Narue turned out to be a mistake. If anything, it's more like Aria. Every one of the first three episodes ends with Miu saying, "this day sucked so bad, but it was wonderful anyway."

I like the designs. And there was no dumb garbage like wind in space with pantsu. But the way the anime straddles slice of life and lovecom with kamichesque pacing fails to excite me (or at least not anywhere enough to counteract the damage done by Nanoha).

P.S. Hitomi is pretty amazing. I wouldn't mind a wife like that.
