Orion and Guff on FMA

A blog that was dead since last year suddenly came to life and produced a post on FMA Brotherhood 01, of all things. The power of alchemy!

Apparently, Hughes is alive and well for some reason. So, must be a remake. Also:

The most interesting of the new cast is definitely Inoue Kikuko as Lust, especially considering that she’s usually cast in the mild-mannered Onee-sama role.

Not sure if Grace O'Connor counts as onee-sama, but you get the picture.

UPDATE:

<zaitcev> So, the "new" FMA is a remake, right? Just like Negima and Kanon?
<Spiritsnare> To my knowledge, yes
<Spiritsnare> supposed to be more faithful to the manga
<zaitcev> They should've called it "Full Metal Alchemist La Verite".

UPDATE: This made me giggle maniacally:

Damn you Zaitcev and your lack of comment support! Damn youuuuuu!

Do they understand that it only encourages me?

Great picture, and very topical. If I wanted to illustrate a forbidden resurrection, I could've only come with the two coffins raising through the roof of Hokage's office.

Anyway, when I referred to Inoue Kikuko as being typecast into “Onee-sama” parts, I was referring more to some of her more high profile roles such as Belldandy in AMS, Mizuho-sensei from Onegai Sensei, or Kasumi Tendo from Ranma ½. =P

Right, I understand. It's just that she broke her typecast recently.
