After the today's installment of merriment, I dived into archives. Unfortunately, there's not much that I recognize and/or appreciate. No Azumanga, no Manabi. I found a review of Sekirei

, but it looks like it was written before Jessi became so adept in applying isults to shows that she fails to understand, so it wasn't much fun.

Moreover, she largely hits the right notes, technically. For example, compare "this show really tries to have some comedic moments, but they generally fall kind of flat" with my own: "[i]t has to be noted though, while humor always helps, and can even save the show, Sekirei is not comedy overloaded".

One good thing that came out of it was that Jessi made me re-read the category and relive the good memories.
