After rewatching it for the umpteenth time, I'm seriously thinking about promoting Nodame to the short list of greats.

There are some issues though. The slow trajectory that the raising evaluation of Nodame charted reminds me very much of Shingu, the show I did not love at first. Their quality level is similar in my view, so it would be unfair not to bump up both. Then, the list won't be so short anymore, will it?

I could demote Manabi, I suppose, but although it has a low R index, it is just such an amazing anime that I don't want to be mean to it.
