So I’m watching an anime based off a visual novel. The latest episode ends and I find myself thinking "holy moley, what the hell just happened there?". So I head off to read some forums and maybe some anime blogs to see other people's opinions on what just happened. And what do I find? A bunch of fucking whiny VN readers.
Never mind the ironic recursion of whining about whiny VN readers, this is also a pet peeve of mine. The disease used to be especially acute in the context of discussing F/SN (Umineko? Whazzat?). But since I ran into it before, I call the phenomenon "poisoned by manga".
IMHO, the post desperately needs a stronger argument, more polish, and less whining. But it's a good start for a blog.
UPDATE: Scamp reminded me that he's far from being a novice, although with 200 anime blogs in my feedlist the name "Bokutachi" only rings a small bell. I forgot to place a hat-tip to Anime-squared, sorry.
