When ANN came out with season previews some four years ago, they were roundly denounced for two things: the crime of reviewing fansubs and their reviews being trash. Not sure what "da industry" voices are still up to now, and nobody cares about them anyway, but Zac made a serious play for fixing the second problem by hiring Gia of Anime Vice. Her opinions are still banal and easily predictable for a young woman of certain positionality, but at least no-one can call ANN Season Previews "trash". She also does her best to stay comprehensive. Her preview is none worse than those made by blogs with large staff, such as Metanorn. Good going, sister!
