This one was blogged, but I managed to tune out. However, I gave it a review after seeing it at the club.

At the core, it's a sitcom with somewhat unattractive characters, but it rolls down pretty smoothly. The major attraction is the film: Panda running after a butterfly, etc.

As an aside, Gena the Crocodile in Cheburashka works as a crocodile in a zoo, too. He's not a lazy loser though and could probably function elsewhere just as well. There's nothing else in common between the series, but thought I'd just mention it, for a smirk.

P.S. You should watch just for Daisuke Ono voicing Llama.
